St Clement’s Anchormen lose to Matignon Warriors

With temperatures at a brisk 65 degrees the morning after heavy rains drenched the city,  St Clement’s Anchormen played extra hard but couldn’t  claim victory.

Matignon High beat St  Clements High Saturday morning at Somerville’s Dilboy Field with a 21-20 victory.

St Clement’s senior #5 James Alphonse ran and scored a tremendous 55 yard touchdown in the 3rd quarter to give St Clements a 20-14 lead before Matignon came back in the game with a 4th quarter touchdown.

St Clement’s next game is this coming Friday October 8th, 7pm at Lowell Catholic.
