Today I announced I am running to become the next Mayor of Somerville. The seven years I have served on our City Council, including my two terms as our Council President, have been an honor. I am proud of what we have accomplished together, but I know that we can accomplish even more with engaged, progressive leadership. That’s why I am asking for your support.

I’m running to represent the values and culture of Somerville, to make sure that everyone’s voice will be heard in city hall, and because our next Mayor needs to have the skills and experience to be our chief executive.

My experience as a long-time community activist and leader on our City Council tells me we can meet the challenges of COVID and get back on track to create and stronger and thriving community that works for all our residents. That’s why I’m running, and that’s why I’m asking for your support.
