ROOTED Armory Café Series: Songwriters in the Round

Kids ring in the New Year at LEGO® Discovery Center Boston

Kids got into the New Year’s Eve fun at LEGO® Discovery Center Boston for their Noon Year’s Eve celebration!

Children may not be able to stay awake until midnight, so LEGO Discovery Center provided little builders a celebration of their own with a bricktastic countdown! The Noon Year’s Eve event took place at noon  New  Year’s Eve with a LEGO “Ball Drop” and was part of their new event Santa’s Brickmas Adventure.

Recommendation will help inform decision on size and location of new school building

The Construction Advisory Group (CAG) has delivered its recommendation to Mayor Ballantyne on the City’s plans for a new PK-8 School Building.

This recommendation, which is pending signatures from the full CAG, comes as a result of a more than 13-month-long process during which CAG members reviewed a wide range of data and information provided by the City and Somerville Public Schools (SPS) to inform their deliberation. While developing their recommendation, the CAG also considered the results of an extensive community process through which more than 2,400 community members shared their perspectives via a survey and focus groups.
