I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the 4,452 people who voted for me in the local elections that took place in Somerville last week. We ran a great campaign, one that certainly resonated with the many friends, supporters and voters we met along the trail. Thank you Rachael, Sam, Ro, Terry, Barbara, FOT, TJF/AFH, HOFF, DKG, COD, and of course the dynamo Liam, Addy & company! It was a campaign centered on my driving commitment of open, transparent, and accountable city government; after all, it’s what the electorate both deserves, and demands. With all voices heard, and truly involved in the process, we can move the City to yet another level. I’m looking forward to that happening. Until then, I’ll continue to be involved on all fronts, working to make sure that vision becomes our tangible reality.
