Every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the Assembly Farmers Market takes place by the trusses where Assembly Row meets Great River Road. The market presents the very best variety of products from New England farms and specialty vendors including vegetables, fruit, meat, cheese, fish, baked goods and much more. The market will continue each Sunday through October.

Heuston that the Administration arrange child care during city-sponsored meetings, especially the fall ResiStat meetings, all Union Square planning meetings, and the yet-to-be scheduled Lincoln Park Neighborhood meeting was brought forward at the Board of Aldermen’s regular meeting last Thursday evening, October 8.

This year, The Little Sisters of the Poor, Jeanne Jugan Residence on Highland Ave., have been celebrating serving the Elderly Poor in Somerville for 125 years. The home has seen and cared for thousands of elderly over the years including multi-generations of families and the Sisters hope to continue their tradition for many years to come.
