Patrick J. Sullivan, Jr. was laid to rest two weeks ago on February 4, 2015. He dedicated thirty-eight years of his life to the people of Somerville, Massachusetts. He was a decorated firefighter due to the many rescues he attempted and/or completed during his long career.

cityHello, this is Mayor Joe Curtatone on Monday, Feb. 16, with an important update on the city’s snow removal operations and current snow emergency and parking ban.

Due to continued historic levels of snowfall and now more than seven feet of snow on the ground in Somerville, the city’s snow emergency and parking ban will remain in effect until further notice. Similar to our procedure following last week’s storms, later this week, we hope to announce rolling lifts of the parking ban as we are able to clear streets and as weather permits.
