The 21st Annual Gobble Gobble Gobble Thanksgiving Race

The Somerville Road Runners presented the 21st annual Gobble Gobble Gobble on Thanksgiving Day. The four mile race was open to runners, joggers and stroller families of all ages and abilities. All proceeds benefit Project Soup as well as Somerville Track PAC.

Comment period extended for GLX Notice of Project Change

At the request of community members, the MBTA is proposing an extension of the comment period for the Notice of Project Change for the possible extension of the Green Line to Mystic Valley Parkway.  The comment period, which was previously planned to close on Tuesday November 28th will now close on Tuesday December 12th.

Parking on City Hall, SHS Concourse to be reduced beginning January 2018.

With construction on the new Somerville High School building project set to begin in January 2018, gradual changes to parking options on the Central Hill Campus (which includes City Hall, Somerville High School, and the Somerville Public Library) and the surrounding public streets will also begin at that time.
