Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus School was founded in 1926 by Father James O’Brien of St. Catherine of St. Catherine’s Paris. In 1953, the school was renamed Saint Catherine of Genoa School to strengthen its connection to the Parish.
When St. Joseph’s, St. Ann’s, and St. Catherine Churches united in 2019 to form the Saint Louis and Zelie Martin Parish, the School returned to its original name, honoring both its founding and in alignment with the new Parish.

Our mission at St. Theresa’s Elementary School is to build a strong foundation of academic excellence while embracing the Catholic Faith, respecting diversity, and fostering Community. We aim to develop our students intellectually, spiritually, socially, and physically. Details on our Early Childhood Program curriculum and our elementary school curriculum are available on our website. Also, any questions can be directed to our Principal, Dr. Tiphaine Guillabert, at 617-666-9116.
Registration for the 2026-2027 School Year is now ongoing for the pre-school through 8th Grade.
Finally, St. Theresa’s Community is in the process of planning the 100 Year Anniversary, celebrating the academic excellence and perseverance of St. Theresa’s School.
