Bridget Seley-Galway artist/poet’s collections of poems, What Moments Yield, was published by Ibbetson Press, and Shorelines was published by Wilderness Press, and are included in several permanent collections. Her poems have also been published in Provincetown Magazine, Somerville Times Lyrical, Poetry Porch, Ibbetson Press, and Bagel with the Bards Anthology. Her art has been exhibited throughout New England. Her paintings have been selected for the covers of Bagel with the Bards, Ibbetson Press, and individual poet publications. Bridget Seley Galway

I feel the magnificence of being
from the ones I love no longer here.
They are where love reigns.
Where we are once again complete as nature in all its innocence.
Where all makes sense in the before and after.
I imagine their freedom and feel lightness in my heart-
In gratitude for all the beauty I have cherished.
Sometimes I slip back into unwanted circumstances.
Into the illusion of control in this flawed human thing.
Where all lessons are learned.
Yet, where impermanence can be a well-spring of infinite possibility.
