Somerville Rotary Club was honored to attend the Somerville High School Annual Awards Night on May 23. Somerville Rotary granted $2,000 scholarships to two well-deserving outstanding students of Somerville High School.

Mei Mei Collins will be attending Harvard University in the fall to study Environmental Engineering, while Saja El Saudi will be attending University of Massachusetts, Boston. On this night, over $175,000 in scholarships was awarded and a lot of the donors were residences of Somerville looking out for the next generation.

Big thanks to past President Paul Kaufman for his hard work every year on the Rotary Educational Fund and to our own former Mayor Gene Brune, for his contribution to SHS Scholarships.
