Staff members from around the Somerville school district recently participated in a friendly competition of Kickball, with school-based teams vying for bragging rights in this inaugural Kickball Tournament event. The games took place at Dilboy Field with 8 teams participating. Each team played a first round game and advanced if they won.

The final game came down to the Healey and a Kennedy/East team. While the Healey School had the best showing in the tournament with 15 participants, the Kennedy/East team pulled together and won the championship game in the 4th inning! A special thanks to everyone who came out to play and set the tone for what will hopefully become a much-anticipated annual tradition.
