  2. Mary Wilis says:

Sally, I don’t know what parade you were at but the elected officials were there…

  3. Sally says:

Oh sorry.I heard they stopped at Davis sq.I was up by the old western junior high. How come they didn’t go all the way to teele sq ????? Must of been a skortcut go O’Donovans office.

  4. Courtney O'Keefe says:

My Mother and I were located in front of Somerville Hospital on Highland Avenue and saw representation from the Mayor, State delegation, Wards 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 all four Aldermen At Large, and School Committee Reps from Wards 1, 3, 4, 5, 7. I absolutely apologize if I didn’t see the remaining elected officials as Dennis Sullivan insists on hugging me for no less than a full minute 😉

I found the parade to be perfectly timed and including so many diverse dancing groups and marching bands. The date change was fine with me as the entire week will have great events leading up to Memorial Day – which should be spent in quiet reflection and appreciation of the men and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. Excellent job to all involved.
