This past Monday night, about 150 residents joined together at Somerville High School to witness our own city Somerville Board of Alderman and School Board members, along with Mayor Joe Curtatone, get sworn into office to serve for the next two years.

This is Mayor Joseph Curtatone’s 14th year in office and we salute both him and the Board of Aldermen and School Board members and wish them all a successful term of office ahead of them.

After the speeches by Board President Bill White, School Committee Chairman Caroline Carrie Normand and Mayor Joseph Curtatone, they all adjourned to the Holiday Inn for a celebration.

We wish all the elected city officials, and in particular Mayor Curtatone, the very best.
