James McMurtry will be performing at Johnny D’s on Saturday, December 19.

The brilliantly talented folk-rock/americana singer-songwriter, James McMurtry, is set to make another appearance at Johnny D’s this coming Saturday, December 19.

McMurtry has taken to the road once again, currently in support of his latest critically acclaimed release Complicated Game. The album is his first studio work in six years and has been lovingly embraced by both his long time and newer fans.

McMurtry has been a vibrant voice in the indie folk/rock scene since the 80s. Now, with an even dozen albums to his credit, his place in the pantheon of great singer-songwriter troubadours is firmly set in the hearts and minds of fans worldwide.

“Back before Napster and Spotify, we toured to promote record sales,” McMurtry says. “Now we make records to promote tour dates.”
