Community Notice Tufts Police

A Tufts University student reported yesterday that on Saturday, 06/27/15 at approximately 5:30 p.m. she was walking near campus on Teele Ave when an unknown college age male exposed himself to her.

The suspect drove past the female student in a black SUV and parked his vehicle. As the student walked past the parked vehicle, the suspect rolled down his window and she was able to visibly observe him exposing and inappropriately touching himself.

The victim described the suspect and vehicle as:

White male

College age

Short hair

Wearing a baseball cap with green on it Operating a shiny black SUV with tan leather seats.

The Somerville Police and Tufts Police are investigating and have increased patrols in the area.

PRECAUTIONS!

* Walk confidently and with purpose, always being aware of your surroundings.

* Report any suspicious person(s) or circumstances to the Tufts Police immediately at 617-627-6911 or x66911 from a campus phone, or call 9-1-1 for local police.
