The Somerville Kiwanis met at The Mount Vernon Restaurant on Thursday, June 12, for a special meeting honoring 10 long-time members who have made outstanding contributions to the club and the Somerville community.  The induction into The Kiwanis Legion Of Honor was organized by Kiwanis President Rui Domingos and Past President Jay Lynch presided as Master Of Ceremonies to a packed audience of current Kiwanis members.

The ten inductees to the Kiwanis Legion Of Honor were: Robert Gorin and Salvatore “Sal” Querusio, 25 years; Robert “Bob” Cataldo, 30 years; Salvatore “Sal” Bertolami and Attorney John Sheehan, 35 years; Robert “Bob” Nissenbaum, Frank Bellistri, and Attorney Robert “Bob” Costello, 40 years; Arnold “Buddy” Knox, 45 years; and Joseph “Joe” Howard, 60 years.

Distinguished Past President Jay Lynch lauded the inductees for their tremendous dedication and generosity to the Somerville Kiwanis and the community of Somerville, and for their many years of continued service to the community.
