Street sweeping resumes April 1

somervillelogoStreet sweeping parking regulations in effect April 1 thru Dec. 31. Residents reminded to sign up for Somerville Sweeper email alerts in advance.

Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone and the Somerville Traffic and Parking Department remind all residents that regular street sweeping schedules will resume beginning Tuesday, April 1 and continue through Dec. 31, 2014.

On designated street sweeping days, vehicles must be moved to one side of the street, as noted on signs posted on each street. The penalty for not complying with street sweeping parking regulations is a $50 fine.

Somerville residents may sign up to receive automatic email alerts through the “Somerville Sweeper” service by visiting www.somervillema.gov/sweeper, or by calling 311 (617-666-3311).
