Ward 5 ResiStat meeting Tuesday, June 18

The Ward 5 ResiStat meeting will take place  June 18 at the John F. Kennedy School cafeteria (5 Cherry Street) at 6:30pm start time. Residents have the opportunity to meet with city officials face to face and voice their concerns about their neighborhood. Light refreshments will be served and the meeting agenda has been determined, ahead of  time, by surveys filled out by residents.     This is the first I’ve heard of this, so it’s short notice to be available to attend. How were the surveys distributed? Were they mailed to residents, because I don’t remember receiving one.

    There was a city phone call about it on Saturday, Marie.

    I didn’t receive a phone call. And I don’t believe a phone call 3 days prior to the event is enough time to plan to be available. Could someone answer Marie’s question as to how the surveys were distributed? I also live in Ward 5 and was unaware of this.
