SCES offering gift cards for COVID booster clinic

Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services (SCES) is offering $25 Target gift cards to encourage participation in a local Senior Day COVID booster clinic on November 15 and 16. 

The clinic will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both days at the Cambridge Health Alliance Vaccine Center, next to the Somerville Target at 180 Somerville Avenue.

The gift cards are available for older adults (age 60 and up) from Cambridge and Somerville who pre-register. To register, call the Somerville Council on Aging and leave a message with Chris Kowaleski at 617-625-6600 x2315.

The booster shots are free. All three vaccine boosters will be available at the clinic.

SCES is providing free transportation for the clinic. Call Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services at 617-628-2601 and ask for the Transportation line to request a ride to and from the Senior Day clinic.

This event is being offered in partnership with the Cambridge Health Alliance, Somerville Health and Human Services, and the Somerville Council on Aging.
