Early voting starts Tuesday, Sept. 7

Four days of early voting will be held in advance of the September 14 preliminary election

Somerville voters will have the option to vote early in the September preliminary election. Four days of in-person early voting will be held prior to election day on Tuesday, September 14.

All early voting will take place in the City Council chambers at City Hall, 93 Highland Avenue. Please remember that face coverings are required in all City buildings. The schedule for early voting is as follows:

·        Tuesday, September 7, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

·        Wednesday, September 8, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

·        Thursday, September 9, 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

·        Friday, September 10, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

As a reminder, voters also have the option of voting by mail this fall. More information on voting by mail can be found at somervillema.gov/votebymail. For those who would like to vote in person on election day, the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14.
