Reminder: Early voting begins today

The City of Somerville will hold 14 days of early voting ahead of the Tuesday, November 3, elections. All early voting will take place at Somerville City Hall, 93 Highland Ave., and the schedule is as follows:

  • Saturday, October 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Sunday, October 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Monday, October 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Tuesday, October 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Wednesday, October 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Thursday, October 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

  • Friday, October 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

  • Saturday, October 24, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.

  • Sunday, October 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Monday, October 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Tuesday, October 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Wednesday, October 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Thursday, October 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

  • Friday, October 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

By taking advantage of early voting, anyone wishing to vote in-person can help spread out crowds over the early voting period, which will help with social distancing. If you have questions about early voting, please email elections@somervillema.gov or call the Elections Department via 311. You can also find more election-related information at www.somervillema.gov/elections.

Although City Hall will be open for early voting, other City offices remain closed to the public. For more information on City services available online while offices are closed, visit the “City Services Status” tab on www.somervillema.gov/covid19 or call 311 for assistance.
