The wait is over, Somerville – Saloon is back in Davis Square

On October 12, 2020, in Latest News, by The Somerville Times

Saloon is officially back on the map. After a hiatus, your favorite subterranean cocktail bar is back on Friday and Saturday evenings in Davis Square serving signature classic cocktails and light meals.

Reinvented and reimaged for our current dining experience, like any restaurant in 2020 Saloon has been tasked with navigating the reopening waters. Fueled by the Saloon staff, the decision to reopen was theirs. Redesigning the menu, the space, and the flow of service Saloon is known for was taken on with the utmost care taken towards safety and social distancing for guests and employees alike. “While the decision to reopen a few nights a week is an exciting and positive one, we’re taking it one shift at a time,” says owner Jess Willis. “The team are the ones driving the opening and the day-to-day and I’m here to support them in any way possible. If we collectively feel at any moment it wasn’t the right move then we’ll assess and each week we’ll be talking about how to make things better and sustainable.”

Open now on Friday and Saturday nights, Saloon is featuring a menu of classic cocktails, house-made favorites such as the Jalisco and Spaghetti Western, over 120 whiskeys, and a reinvented menu featuring a Pork Belly BLT made in house and other favorites. Known for classic cocktails, new twists, and small plates inspired by world cuisine, Saloon is back and ready to serve.

Friday and Saturday nights.
