On the evening of January 2, a Somerville Police officer queried a license plate was attached to a pickup truck and found that the vehicle had been reported stolen in December of 2018.

The officer stopped the vehicle on Holland St. in front of Hodgkins Park. As other officers arrived to assist, the driver, later identified as Angelo Devito, was ordered to shut off the engine and step out of the truck.

The driver and his female passenger were handcuffed and advised that the truck had been reported stolen.

Officers then spoke with the female passenger, Glens Stocki, who stated that she was unaware that the truck was stolen.

Devito was found to have an active warrant for his arrest and was placed under arrest for the warrant along with a charge of receiving a stolen motor vehicle

Stocki was found to have two warrants in place under her name and was also placed under arrest at the same time.
