While conducting an arrest at a Memorial Rd. location last week, Somerville Police officers heard a familiar female voice yelling from across the street.

When an officer turned around, he recognized the person as Briana Barnoski, of Lynn, with whom he had previous encounters in the line of duty.

The officer reportedly heard Barnoski yelling something to the individual that was being arrested, but it was not clear what was being said. Her yelling had caused a small group of people to gather and cause a disruption to the arrest in progress.

The officer advised Barnoski to stop what she was doing and to move along, as she had been advised on two other occasions that she was subject to arrest for a trespass order she had against her at that location.

Barnoski reportedly continued to yell, shouting obscenities at the officers, and insisted that she had not been trespassed from the area.

The officer advised Barnoski that he would not be giving her another break and ordered her to leave immediately and to stop yelling and causing a scene.

According to reports, she continued to insist that she was not trespassed and continued to shout obscenities at the officers.

When enough police presence arrived to assist, the officer walked over to Barnoski, whose breath reportedly smelled of alcohol, and placed her under arrest for trespassing.
