Public meeting to discuss tree removal for SHS project

All interested residents are invited to join the Office of Capital Projects and Planning, the Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development, Ward 3 Alderman Ben Ewen-Campen and Alderman at Large Mary Jo Rossetti for a public meeting on Monday, February 26, to discuss upcoming tree removal as part of the construction process for the new Somerville High School.

Trees to be removed include those between the rear of Somerville High School and the train tracks. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the Somerville High School Library, 81 Highland Ave. This is the second public meeting regarding tree removal, and City and project staff will review plans for removal of trees in the rear of the building before construction begins this spring.
