56 affordable rental units available at Assembly Row

Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone and Street Realty Inc. announced this week that 56 rental units will be offered to low/moderate income eligible households through the City’s Inclusionary Housing Program. Eligible applicants will be entered into a lottery for the available units, which are located at Assembly Row in the new Montaje building, at 449 Canal Street. The first units are expected to be ready for occupancy in early 2018.

Two information sessions are planned for persons interested in applying. Sessions will be held as follows:

·         Wed., Sept. 13, 2017, East Somerville Community School (50 Cross St.), 6 – 7:30 p.m.

·         Thurs., Oct. 19, 2017, East Somerville Community School (50 Cross St.), 6 – 7:30 p.m.

Applications for the units will be available at the conclusion of the first information session, and will also be available online at www.s-e-b.com/property/montaje, at all branches of the Somerville Public Libraries, and at the City Hall Annex at 50 Evergreen Ave., 2nd Floor.

IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION

·         All applications must be received by 2 p.m. November 13. Applications that are postmarked November 13 will not be accepted.
