The Somerville Board of Aldermen presented a citation Commending the Somerville Youth Softball Tsunami, for finishing as 2017 MiddleEssex Softball League champions in the 12B Division at its latest regular meeting last week.

The citation reads: Be it hereby known to all that the Somerville Board of Aldermen and Mayor offer their sincerest commendations to the Somerville Youth Softball Organization’s Tsunami PLAYERS: Jorden Ardolino, Emma Benevento, Bianca Cicerone, Samantha Coco, Madison French, Nikki Grover, Ava Hardy, Emily Howley, Evelyn Leadholm, Madisyn Mahoney, Addison O’Donovan, Bella Pasqualino, Bella Sanchez COACHES: Mark Benevento, Chris Grover, Lea Hardy, Nicole Viele Who were 2017 MiddleEssex Softball League 12B Division Champions. The Aldermen and the Mayor congratulate these athletes, and extend their best wishes for continued success in all endeavors. Offered this 24th day of August, 2017.
