Airport Impacts 101 in Somerville

Somerville residents have heard, and felt, the impact of increased air traffic over the city for the last decade. On November 5th, community activists and concerned citizens attended a daylong conference entitled Airport Impacts 101. The conference aimed to increase the public’s understanding of the health effects of exposure to air traffic.

Prospect Hill Tower Tours

Following renovations funded by the Community Preservation Act, residents are invited to take guided tours to the top of Prospect Hill Tower on select dates.

Fall ResiStat Meetings

The Fall ResiStat meetings have concluded. Topics discussed include funding the new school, current and upcoming roadwork projects, the new lowered speed limit, efforts to improve community to police relations, and the extension of the Solarize Somerville Program.
