Those interested in running for public office in the City of Somerville (Mayor, Alderman at Large, Ward Alderman, or School Committee) need to file their paperwork no later than June 24.

Nominations can be picked up at Election Department at City Hall (lower floor) until June 22 but have to be in no later than June 24. The following have pulled nomination papers for this year’s municipal elections:

Mayor:

Needs 250 plus 50 registered vote signatures to certify.

Incumbent: Joseph A. Joe Curtatone, 130 Ten Hills Road

Alderman at Large:

Need 9 candidates for a primary. Top 8 or less move automatically to the final election in November. Need 150 plus 50 registered voter signatures to certify.

Incumbents: Mary Jo Rossetti, 80 Electric Avenue; Dennis Michael Sullivan, 138 Ten Hills Road; William A. White Jr., 125 Ten Hills Road; John M. Jack Connolly Jr., 17 Winslow Avenue.

Challenger: Sean J. Fitzgerald, 46 Garrison Avenue.

Ward Alderman:

Ward Alderman papers need 100 plus 20 registered voter’s signatures to certify.

Alderman Wad 1: incumbent only Matthew C. McLaughlin, 193 Pearl Street.

Alderman Ward 2: incumbent only Maryann M. Heuston, 115 Beacon Street.

Alderman Ward 3: incumbent only Robert J. McWatters, 218A Summer St. BSMT.

Alderman Ward 4: incumbent only Antonio Tony G. Lafuente, 137 Sycamore Street.

Alderman Ward 5: incumbent only Mark Niedergang, 29 Conwell Street.

Alderman Ward 6 (open seat): Charles J. Chisholm, 151 College Avenue; Lance Davis 356 Highland Avenue.

Alderman Ward 7: incumbent only Katjana Ballantyne, 49 Russell Road.

School Committee:

Need 100 plus 20 registered voters signatures to certify.

Ward 1: no one has taken out papers as of 1p.m. Tuesday May 12.

Ward 2: no one has taken out papers as of 1p.m. Tuesday May 12.

Ward 3 (open seat): Lee Erica Palmer, 17 Pitman Street; Vivaldo M. Meneses Jr., 19 Wesley Park.

Ward 4 (open seat): Andre L. Green, 88 Governor Winthrop Road; Jamie Sue O’Leary, 91 Thurston Street.

Ward 5: incumbent Laura J. Pitone, 46 Rogers Avenue.

Ward 6: no one has pulled nomination papers as of 1p.m. Tuesday May 12.

Ward 7: incumbent Caroline Carrie Normand, 25 Kingston Street.
