As Federal Realty Investment Trust nears its one year anniversary of Assembly Row with nearly 1,300 jobs already created, retailers are looking for more than 100 new employees in various retail and restaurant positions.

“We are excited that we can be a resource for many local job seekers,” Andrea Simpson, Director of Marketing at Federal Realty Investment Trust at Assembly Row. “Our continued partnerships with local hiring programs and The City of Somerville allows us to match top candidates with available positions within the neighborhood and focus on job creation.”

Since February 2014, Federal Realty Investment Trust has held several job fairs and hosted thousands of seekers connecting them directly with hiring managers and filling the nearly 1,300 jobs created at Assembly Row to date.

As Federal Realty Investment Trust continues its focus on local hiring it is offering a special opportunity for Somerville residents to have a first look at the available positions on Saturday, April 25th from 11 am to 3 pm in the Welcome Center.

The general public is welcome on Sunday, April 26th from 11 am to 3 pm.

After obvious success of last years the pre-and post-opening job fairs, held in collaboration with the City of Somerville and the Somerville Community Corporation with more than 1500 people attending, Federal Realty Investment Trust believes these continued opportunities will prove to be beneficial to those seeking employment in and around the Somerville neighborhood.
