Somerville police arrested a 31-year-old Waltham man last week in connection with a break-in on Broadway.

Michael Preys and another man stole two flat-screen televisions – 37 and 32 inches – valued at $2,200 total in a home break-in, police said.

Police learned Preys could be found at Somerville District Court on Aug. 5. Detective Shannon Dottin told Preys that police had videotape evidence showing him removing two flat screen televisions.

“To which he responded, ‘We didn’t steal anything.’ I then asked who the ‘we’ pertained to seeing as I only stated of having video of just him,” Dottin wrote in the arrest report.

Preys told Dottin he wanted a lawyer. He was arrested and charged with larceny over $250 and receiving stolen property over $250.
