East Somerville Main Streets’ Third Thursday Block Party called “World Groove Dance Party” took place last Thursday at Chuckie Harris Park.

The event featured World Music DJ’d by Anthony De Soto and Anita Young Coelho, a storybook walk and crown crafting by The Beautiful Stuff Project, community quilt making with Connection Lab, performances and dance demos by OnStage Dance Company, live Drumming, spoken word performances and more.

The next Third Thursday Block Party id scheduled for August 21, 6:00-8:30 p.m., also at Chuckie Harris Park.
