A Natick woman was arrested July 19 after she allegedly smashed in a window and tried to climb in to a first floor apartment as the man who lived there yelled for help.

Stephanie Geheran, 24, was asked by police to leave the porch at 32 Malvern Ave. after they were called to remove “an unwanted female” from the property.

She told police she had been living at the house and left something in the pantry. Officers advised her to leave the property and she walked away from the home, police said.

When police returned a short time later they saw Geheran halfway inside a broken window and lunging at the caller inside the apartment, police said.

Officers pulled her from the window and charged her with breaking and entering in the nighttime for a felony and destruction of property under $250.
