Thursday, April 17 at 7 p.m., the Somerville Road Runners will host the second Officer Sean Collier Memorial run, in conjunction with our Annual pre-Boston Marathon pasta party. This event will be held at Casey’s tavern, 173 Broadway, East Somerville, MA

Last year, MIT Police Officer Collier, who was also a member of the Somerville Auxiliary Police, was slain in the line of duty. Prior to the start of the 4 mile run, there will be a moment of silence for Sean.

The run is free to everyone; after we run, we will be collecting donations after the run to make a contribution to the Jimmy Fund in Sean Collier’s name. You may also donate directly here:
