Residents near a proposed apartment complex development in East Somerville voiced their opposition to the project during a community meeting Wednesday, Jan. 29, at the Cross Street Senior Center at 165 Broadway.

The developer, CPC-T Holdings, LLC, proposed 121 units at 771 McGrath Highway on property owned by Stop & Shop. Responding to the criticism that the project was too large, the developer agreed to scale the development down to 86 units, although some residents remained unhappy even after the new offer.

The project is on the Planning Board’s agenda for this Thursday, Feb. 6, although a note on the agenda states the applicant has asked for a continuance to Feb. 20.
