Somerville Arts Council’s Super Precious Art Gallery features almost-monthly online group shows with contemporary art inspired by a specific topic or theme.

For the month January, the prints from online gallery are featured in the Inside-OUT Gallery, showcasing a retrospective of past shows.

The gallery is instigated by Aaron Cohen (@unlikelywords). At the gallery’s inception, there was an outpouring of support from all of the artists in the first two shows that has attributed to the gallery current success. At this time the gallery does not have a permanent location, but they have pop up openings around Boston to celebrate new shows.

Initiated in 2009, The Inside-Out Gallery is located in the CVS Window in Davis Square, a unique space that allows the public to view an eclectic array of works from artists and local organizations each month. The mission of the Somerville Arts Council is to cultivate and celebrate the creative expressions of the Somerville community. Through innovative collaborations and quality programming we work to make the arts an integral part of life reflective of our diverse city.
