After two overtime periods, the Somerville High School Boys soccer team effort came to an end as West Springfield prevailed in the Division 1 State Championship in Worcester on Friday, November 15.

In spite of their best efforts, the Highlanders failed in their attempt to overcome West Springfield in the penalty kicking finish of the match.

The final score was 4-3 in favor of West Springfield.
