Summer Wind Camp performing at Cross Street center July 24

Somerville’s Rising Musical Stars made up of Somerville Public Schools Summer Wind Camp will be performing FREE at the Cross Street Center at 165 Broadway, Wednesday, July 24 at 11:30 am.  Somerville Wind Camp is open to all wind and percussion players who have played for at least one school year.  The campers meet for three hour days a week for ten days in july and work with three instructors: Richard Romanoff and Rosemary Sears (both SPS music teachers) and Anthony Prestigiovanni, who just graduated from UMASS Lowell with a degree in Music Education.

Stay for lunch at noon and transportation is available upon request for Somerville and Cambridge older adult residents.  Lunch is $1.50 suggested donation.
