Union Square Farmers Market opens Saturday, June 1 and runs every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through November 23. Located at Union Square Plaza where Prospect St, Washington St, and Somerville Ave. meet.

Brookford Farm is joining this year with their own yogurt, buttermilk, cottage cheese, artisanal cheeses, and grains and Violette Gluten Free, with a full line of gluten free baked goods and breads. Two new farm-wineries, Carr’s Ciderhouse and Green River Ambrosia, will rotate every-other-week with hard cider and inventive meads and libations out of Western Massachusetts, just to name a few of the new vendors.

Payment accepted: Cash, SNAP, Credit Cards, Union Square Market Tokens, Farmers Market WIC coupons,

The Mass Farmer’s Market in Davis Square opened on May 22. The market is held every Wednesday from 12-6 p.m. through November 27. Located at the Herbert and Day Streets parking lot.

They have early produce, fresh-baked goods, vegetable plants and flowers, possibly hen’s eggs, and this year they are happy to have Chris Manning, a Hull lobsterman and co-owner of C&C Lobster, who has very fresh-caught lobster and fish. This week they expect to have Kimball Fruit Farm and Westport Rivers Vineyard & Winery and its delicious award winning locally grown wines.
