Somerville Community Blood Drive

Sponsored by Somerville City Hall and  the Somerville High School Health Career Students, Monday, May 6, 9 a.m to 2 p.m. at the Somerville High School, Field House,81 Highland Avenue.

1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit  or sign up in the Health Careers Program Classroom.
You must be 17 years old, 16 years old with a signed parental permission form, have a positive ID and meet the High School weight requirements to donate. Before donating, get a good night’s sleep, have a healthy meal and try to avoid fatty foods.

    Let’s all donate blood on Monday for this worthy cause and do it in memory of the Marathon bomb victims and especially in the memory of Sean Collier. You will feel so good if you do this.

    The bombing suspects showed the worst in mankind; donating blood will show the best in mankind. Hope to see you Monday. God bless all!
