New President of Tufts University,Anthony P. Monaco, a noted neuroscientist, delivered the keynote address during the Somerville Chamber of Commerce 65th Annual Dinner on Wednesday, November 9, at the Holiday Inn.

Herb Chambers of Herb Chambers Motor Cars, the great philanthropist, received the Lifetime Achievement Award and former
Somerville Mayor Eugene Brune received the Excellence in Public Service Award.
Other distinguished award recipients included: Redbones, Excellence in Dining and Nightlife; Federal Realty Investment
Trust, Excellence in Economic Development;Jim Roy, CPCU, Distinguished Service;East Somerville Main Streets, Business Neighbor of the Year; Apex Green Roofs & Recover Green Roofs,Green Business Award; Respond, Non Profit of the Year; and Glenn Kulbako Photography, Small Business of the Year.
The annual event is the foremost yearly gathering of local business, civic, and community leaders.
