The work of the Somerville Community Corporation and theirr local community nonprofit partners is crucial to the diversity, affordability, and equity of our city. WeThey fight together to help those facing eviction, homelessness, unemployment, poverty, and displacement by providing critical equity resources like job training, financial education, community organizing, affordable housing, and advocacy. These basics – shelter, safety, a stable job, a voice – are the foundation of equity without which all other efforts crumble.

Ensuring all our neighbors can participate and prosper is how we build a thriving and resilient community. An equitable Somerville means everyone has access to good jobs, rising standards of living, and stable housing.
