David Campbell has been painting Somerville for 40 years. An exhibition of his work, “The Art of Observation”, will soon be open to the public at the Somerville Museum. Some of the scenes in the 22 paintings and drawings no longer exist, some have changed, all are Somerville. Can you identify the location in the painting above?

This is the last week of the challenge, the Somerville Museum will be offering a $25 gift card from a local business to one lucky winner who correctly identifies the scene; extra credit if you can correctly identify the year this scene was painted. All guesses must be submitted via email at info@somervillemuseum.org each Thursday by 8 pm. Winners will be notified by email and announced on social media.
