Woman unwelcome in stranger’s car

Police responded to a report of a car break in at a Norfolk St. residence last Thursday evening.

Arriving officers spoke to the victim, who told them he had just returned home from the bakery and left his car doors unlocked. He reportedly stated that when he returned to the car a few moments later to retrieve some items he found a woman, identified as Robin Partee, of Cambridge, sitting in the driver’s seat, rummaging through his belongings.

The victim said that he then pulled Partee out of his car, but she insisted on going back inside because she had left her backpack in there. At that point he reportedly called the police.

According to reports, the police officers felt that Partee was intoxicated and the got nowhere when attempting to question her.

She was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering.
